The River Thames never fails to provide me with inspiration for my paintings.
There’s something magical about watching the beginning of a new day, up early with the birds singing and seeing the sun peek above the horizon and the skies fill with rich colours.
You’ll want to be facing east, the direction that the sun rises, and if conditions are right be amazed by the colourful sky, full of oranges, reds and pinks. This dramatic early morning sunrise across the River Thames from my bedroom window was particularly spectacular.
